Ambreia Young, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Ambreia Young is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022 with her masters degree, specializing in psychiatric nursing. With over 10 years of clinical nursing experience, she has a strong background in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across diverse patient populations. With her depth of experience in inpatient, outpatient and crisis management, it allows her to be proficient in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. Her professional focus includes delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care while promoting patient-centered outcomes and holistic wellness.
Ambreia is enthusiastic about joining Rhode Island Counseling Associates and contributing her experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support exceptional patient care and collaborative team success.
