I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in providing mental health care to adult and geriatric populations.
My focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions. I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, inter-professional collaboration and evidenced-based medicine. My goal is for my clients to feel empowered in working towards recovery through supportive education in a stigma free environment.
A client can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals and education about diagnosis and available treatment options. I have the pleasure of working alongside many skilled and experienced clinicians. I am happy to collaborate and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams when clinically appropriate.
