Jolanda Forbes-Sheppard, LICSW
My name is Jolanda Forbes-Sheppard (Jody for short) and I graduated with my Master’s in Social Work from Barry University in Miami, FL. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I have over 25 years of Social Work experience. During my years in this field, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of populations but most recently I’ve worked with postpartum moms. I am a passionate advocate for mental well-being and establishing a supportive and empowering environment for individuals seeking to navigate life’s challenges. I focus on providing compassionate and evidenced-based care and I am committed to ongoing learning to help nurture positive change in clients. I am excited to utilize my interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections and my goal is to create a safe space for exploration and personal growth.
