Hello, I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in Rhode Island. I have over 20 years of diverse experience in the field of behavioral health and human services. I have a passion for helping individuals navigate through life’s challenges. I have experience in various settings including but not limited to, private practice, emergency services and corrections. I specialize in solution focused therapy, emotion focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and motivational interviewing. My approach is integrative, and client centered, meaning I tailor therapy techniques to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. My primary areas of expertise include LGBTQIA+ issues, anxiety, stress management, addiction, depression, mood disorders, anger management, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, communication issues, grief and loss and life transitions. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
